Christoph Marquardt from the Max-Planck-Institute for the Science of Light, in Germany, has joined as Section Editor for continuous variable quantum optics and continuous variable quantum information. At the Max Planck research group in Erlangen he investigated different approaches to generate and characterize continuous variable quantum states of light. He currently heads the quantum information processing group (QIV) at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light and is Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs guest professor at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.

Dominique Coquillat from the University of Montpellier, in France, is now JEOS:RP Section Editor for photonic crystals, spectroscopy and TeraHertz. Coquillat is a Research Director at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and the University of Montpellier. She is the author of over 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
