| JEOS:RP DRAWS A POSITIVE BALANCE FOR 2011 2011 was a very successful year for the journal. A 33% increase in the impact factor along with a 36% decrease in the time-to-publication count among the most important achievements. At the same time, the total number of paper submissions increased by 25%, while the acceptance ratio went down by 55% to 31% and the rejection ratio rose by 111% to 38% rejected papers. This positive development puts JEOS:RP well on track to meeting its goal of being an important platform for publication in the fields of classical and quantum optics - with high standards regarding scientific novelty, intelligibility and relevance. |
